経歴：
He was born in Kawaguchi, Kawaguchi City, Saitama, under parents who operated a casting business for their living. After graduating higher elementary school, he left their parents house and engaged in casting of pot and kettles. At the age of 19, he changed is career and started to make wazao. When he was 21 years old, he was offered to work at Yahagi fishing store in Saiwai-cho Kawaguchi City, and studied the making of wazao at Yahagi Atlier. He started his own business and opened Fukuhara Fishing Rod Manufacturer with his brother, when he was 25.
