Wazao rods distribute load across the entire blank; however, they can be weak under concentrated pressure (e.g., bending the tip alone or exceeding 90° bends when landing fish). Q3. How heavy a lure can these rods handle?
A. Recommended lure weight is around 1–3g (small minnow/spoon). However, WAZAO-IPPON has tested loads up to around 7g without issues.
