Featured in Hot-Dog PRESS. The issue's special is 'A Field Guide to Japanese Handmade Work.' Why are we drawn to words like 'master' and 'artisan'? Surely it is because we feel something there that mass production cannot offer. This issue brings into close view the items into which the care and craft of Japanese artisans have been poured.
